The Infertility Research Chair has a lot of projects which are centered in three main parts:

  1- Research Projects:

A. Clinical Research which means the following:

Study the psychological and social impact of infertility on couples suffering from infertility in our society

Examine the available treatments used to treat infertility in Saudi  Arabia and the  Arabian Gulf region and compare their results and  consider ways to improve them.

Study secondary factors that may affect the success rate of infertility treatments and suggest research solutions

Study means of treatment and fertility preservation techniques for cancer patients

 ● Develop new medical & surgical infertility treatment techniques

Establish a central electronic database of infertility at King Saud University

B. Basic Science Research which means the following:

Innovation and development of new therapeutic methods such as  (stem cells).

 ● Study genetic causes of infertility in our society

●  Examine ways to preserve reproductive glands or or parts of them  outside the human body

● Examine ways of re-implanting preserved ovarian tissue, in whole or in  part   aimed at the restoration of the ability to reproduce

This is a brief summary of some of the proposed projects by   this research chair
